Chess Tournament
New for 2025 and the “quieter” side of the fun! Our chess tournament will take place on Day 2/April 10 from 2pm to 3:30pm. The format is Blitz Armageddon (white 5 minute and black 4 minute) and allows for 32 players. We’ll begin with two 15 minute rounds of 16 players each, and advance the winners until the final round.
First place will receive an ISA Edmonton Section Membership and $100 Starbucks gift card, and second place will receive an an ISA Edmonton Section Membership and $50 Starbucks gift card.

Registration is complimentary, however required. This selection is available as an à la carte item on our registration platform. Please click the “Attendee Registration” button (bottom of your screen), follow the registration prompts (select either “Expo Only” or “Expo & Conference”, then choose the “Chess Tournament” menu item).
